This has got to be one of the BEST places I have visited. When you enter, the atmosphere is very friendly, clean and elegant. The staff is amazing!! We were immediately seated and greeted by the most attentive waitress. We were treated like family. First. The Fried ravioli was a good twist compared to the cheese sticks. Chicken wings was next. The sauce on these wings were fantastic. A Perfect combination of sweet and spice. Fettuccine chicken alfredo, this was my dish and it was very creamy and delectable. The spaghetti is what my guest had and the review was that of "tasty". Not your typical sauce. Finally, a mouthwatering, juicy and yummy cheeseburger. (With fries) A flavorful salad with the homemade dressing could be addictive. Served with the right amount of bread and olive oil. Last but not least, Banana nut bread. topped with Ice cream and drizzled with caramel was a flavorful desert.

First & foremost I will wax lyrical. It happens, especially with handmade pastries. Good ambiance, a rich historic building with lovely attention to style. This building is an enjoyable relaxing space with a modern twist. Plenty of parking, good bathrooms. Pretty historic shopping district. Very fresh, well seasoned dishes. To know the five tastes & make a dish that hits all those points is hard. I generally forget most places cannot meet this mark, when I find the one that has this mastery of art, echos of all my favorite long hard hours in kitchens come back in flashes of nostalgia & joy. The best days are spontaneous & effective without hard effort. The best dishes are exceptional because the chef really knows his work & manages to remind one of all those moments in life, on a plate! Which is an effort of artistic ephemera, once & only. Chefs with this genius have the ability to do this in a repeating fashion of skill. You can be wealthy enough to eat out every day & still not experience incredibly beautiful food because of so many aspects that you will not experience; suppliers, staff intrigue, mild difficulties of consistency & control the list can be arduous at best. A Master Chef takes all this into account & delivers regardless. So; Location Comradery of staff, well appointed & educated & interested in hospitality Food quality Top shelf alcohol choices Cleanliness For the ladies who lunch, white linen service with a true french bread & olive oil on table, in a casual flaire so you can come in your jeans or your vintage hat. Great for catered event, for dates, for that little splurge of time to rejuvenate in good culture. I didn't have to go to Atlanta for traditional five star sevice with a very reasonable pricetag!!! Bread pudding is luscious, extravagant portions, with caramel & vanilla creme sauces. Key lime bright & clean & silky texture. Take either dessert with a cocktail & listen to Sinatra or Etta James on the beautiful sound system that is just effortlessly gentle backdrop. Fried ice cream is so crunchy & cold, vanilla rush with a rich texture, the kids will behave because it is so sharable & eye pleasing to table. Organic & fresh !! No msg or additives at all!!! Oneonta how did you land this Chef !!!??? Locals & non locals, make the effort & take the trip to come here. I love reviewing because I get to experience surprisingly beautifully appointed locations & people who make hospitality an outstanding experience far past expectations. If you love Italian food, this will make your day. Also, the traditional steaks are incredible. Also, the fresh fish is delectable. Delicious, delightful, dynamic.

Had the BBQ Salmon. It was a unique dish served hot and fresh. Never had sauteed strawberries on top of fish, but the flavor combination worked for me! Restaurant was clean, service friendly. Prices more than fair. Had several specials of the day and plenty enough servers to keep up with the tables. Enjoyed my visit.

Wait was about an hour, but it was Valentines Day, so that's understandable. Wanted to try the BBQ Salmon, but the menu for the day was somewhat abbreviated. Went with the Land and Sea, 2 thumbs up. Also had fried mushrooms for an appetizer, coffee, and tiramisu for dessert. I regret nothing and will definitely go back. Our waiter (Dom) was great and added to the whole experience being A.

We have eaten here 3 times in 2 weeks it is that good! This hidden gem is the spot to get great food. My husband and I have voted this as our new favorite place. The land & sea is absolutely wonderful & the blackened tilapia is amazing. Oh, and the tiramisu is the best I've ever had. Key lime is spot on as well.

My husband and I cannot stop raving about the lovely dinner we had at Mio Sogno, a gem in the heart of Oneonta. It was one of the most delicious, pleasant restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. We waited maybe 15 minutes on a Friday night for a table, just the right amount of time to walk and browse the cute shops and see the mural walls. The food was amazing (piping hot, perfectly seasoned, homemade-tasting Italian food). We even got dessert (which we never do): banana bread pudding! Our server was helpful, polite and attentive without being attention-seeking, and there wasn't any music playing, so we could actually hear ourselves talking. When they brought the check, we were shocked by how affordable the meal was. A five-star experience, from start to finish. We're definitely going back!
